For those that don’t know me, my name is Rajan. I am 28 and travelling through Africa in my trusted Landrover Defender, with the aims of providing surgical care and education (health and general) to rural African populations, who would otherwise not be able to receive such.
This work is in affiliation with various NGO’s and Out of Afrika
I also hope to gain an unrivalled life experience.
I will aim to update the site with as much information as is possible, detailing my adventures and any other interesting information I feel you may wish to know, or that you have requested.
There is a page of photographs and some info about when, where and how they were taken. There may also be a page of excerpts of articles, or prose I have written whilst travelling, for your amusement.
NB: Photo Gallery 3 has arrived and has photos!!!
I’m currently in Uganda, having visited Rwanda and am on my way to Tanzania again for a quick excursion up Mt Kilimanjaro!
Any comments about these photos greatly appreciated. Please email me on rajanjethwa@doctors.org.uk
